Before the incident
Anesthesia provider was going to administer IM ketamine.
What happened
OR RN Pre-op RN CRNA Anesthesiologist and Mom dad attempting to restrain patient to administer it safely. Pre-op RN had hands on patients knee to hold it down for the shot to be administered in the thigh. Patient grabbed RNs left wrist and pulled it towards him. RN immediately had to hop on the end of the chart but back neck was strained in the process.
