What happened

2 RNs and 1 LPN assisting patient into raised SUV from chair. I grabbed gait belt to ease with transfer but we didn 't realize patient couldn 't wouldn 't bear any weight at all because EMS brought her in and were able to use blanket to slide her into lower positioned wheelchair from bed. One RN grabbed patient from behind using gait belt LPN male grabbed gait belt from front and I grabbed from side and part of the front. When we started getting her up we realized how hard it was going to be to get her in her legs were sliding and I grabbed them while other 2 lifted so she wouldn 't fall to the ground. LPN in front was able to get her onto seat into vehicle. I suggested also using the Golvo when I grabbed the gait belt but we didn 't know how we were even going to get her into a sling from that wheelchair or back into bed to then use the golvo to get her in the vehicle and figured 3 people would suffice.
