Believe needle stick occurred when I was placing the completed equipment in the sharps container
What happened
I drew the blood - I used the safety activation on the butterfly (21g green butterfly). I also used the vacutainer. I wore gloves. When I completed the draw threw the appropriate equipment in the sharps container I took off my glove and noticed blood in my glove. Looked at my left hand and noticed bleeding from the ulnar aspect of my middle phalanx of my middle finger. Irrigated Cleaned it immediately
