What happened
I was changing a patient 's bed out of her room while she was up in the bathroom. When pushing the empty labor bed into the empty room to wait for housekeeping the wheels were stuck and would not allow me to turn the bed appropriately to get into the room. I tried several time to lock wheels and to put them on steer and neutral with none of these positions allowing the wheels to turn freely. Another RN called to assist and bed was pushed into the room by 2 RN 's with wheels still not allowing bed to move side to side.
