Patient was agitated in his room screaming and hitting his bed. Staff attempted to speak with patient to find out his concerns and deescalate the situation. Patient attempted to voice his frustrations but became further agitated and charged staff. [REDACTED] pushed patient away initially before multiple staff entered the room. Patient sat on his bed for less than a minute emotionally distressed before attempting to leave the room after staff requested patient remain until RN could further assess. Multiple staff secured patient on the bed due to refusal to cooperate with safety requests.
