Blunt Force Thumb (Right)The employee was dumping a waste wheeler that was overloaded with long pieces of wood and when he tipped the waste wheeler up on the tipper. The employee was standing behind the hopper as the blade was running and the blade started to pull the waste wheeler into the hopper. The employee tried to reposition the waste wheeler as the blade was running and the pressure of the blade caused the tipper to fall over smashing the employees right thump between the hopper and the waste wheeler.
