The associate was traversing the Bagged Candy Packaging Department.

Another associate was entering the department and the injured worker determined that the associate was not paying proper attention while walking. She attempted to tap the associate 's shoulder to get their attention. The injured worker 's finger got caught and was dislocated she is unsure whether her finger dislocated against the other employee 's shoulder or nearby metal racking.

Left hand pinky finger was dislocated.

Contact with either the other employee or a nearby metal rack contributed to the finger dislocation.
