Before the incident
Employee and another associate were emptying a big trash gondola into a 40-yard dumpster. Injured associate was assisting from the ground other associate was in a forklift.
What happened
Forklift pushed gondola and its contents into dumpster as the bin came back employee thought the bin was going to fall. Employee went to straighten it and caught his left thumb between metal bar on gondola and the gondola itself.
