The repetitive use of his hands while using hand tools and other equipment over a period of time.

The operator just started his shift and was talking with someone about not being able to sleep at night over the [REDACTED] because his hands were waking him up. The symptoms he described seemed similar to carpal tunnel symptoms. We brought him in to be evaluated by a doctor. According to the operator the symptoms worsen depending on the activity level.
