On [REDACTED] a CNC operator sustained a puncture wound injury on his right index finger while operating an Elumatec machine (004034TT). As the operator moved the material from the CNC machine to the cart the operator felt something puncture his right index finger. The operator attempts to remove the burr on his own. The operator believed he had removed all the material and decided not to report it to the department lead or supervisor. The employee continued to work as usual.
