The employee went to hang the metal bar that holds the gusset bags and the bar slipped and fell down approximately 12 pinching their left thumb between the bar and the plastic end cap on a roll of kraft filler paper that was stood on end just below the bag holder at the scale table.

Cut to left thumb at knuckle area. On 5 25 2023 MRI revealed a tear to the left thumb volar plate and employee was put out of work by the doctor.
