Cleaning drying equipment and grabbed a spray bottle that he thought was a soap water mixture and a rag and began cleaning fans. About an hour into it his hands started to burn and looked at them and they had white stains on them. He went and found supervisor and showed her. They washed his hands with soap and water and then called safety advocate for guidance. [REDACTED] asked them to smell the contents of the bottle which they could not identify. [REDACTED] them advised them to call the company nurse immediately as he was heading back to the office from out of town. It is now believed that the chemical was a mold stain remover based on the smell.
