Before the incident

I was picking a order walking down aisle D until I got a item to pick D3643.

What happened

I grabbed one of the shorter ladders that was nearby and positioned it to grab the item I needed. The box I grabbed was a bigger one and I carried it down mostly on my left shoulder. After taking the first 2 steps down I didn 't see what tripped me but I suddenly tripped and tumbled the last 2 steps.

Injury or illness

left hand right below the knuckles swelled up and through the shift slowly changed to a purple under my knuckles and a bit of purple formed on my ring and middle finger above the knuckle.
