On [REDACTED] at approximately [REDACTED] US FOODS loader was working out of dock door 30 when the incident occurred The employee stated that when they were backing out of the trailer the single pallet jack 9 drive tire lost traction causing the pallet jack to get stuck They then started to sway the handle side to side to catch traction when the handle jerked to one side When this happened the handle hit the buildings wall pinching their hand in between the handle and wall The incident did not involve other employees The root cause of the injury is to be determined Contributing factors include slippery surface The employee was offered first aid which they accepted at this time The employee can return to work as of [REDACTED]
