Talking to potential employee about hiring her

I went to go sit in a chair in front of her desk but hit my knee on the edge of the leg of the chair a hard edge. I fell down onto the desk my knee collapsing from the pain. I waited for about 15 minutes and tried to shake it off. I hit the knee cap and the pain got less and I was able to walk back to my office. Since that date the pain has gotten worse and I finally could not go up and down the stairs without severe pain. I went to the doctor had x-rays and an MRI and found I have a fracture and torn meniscus.
