Before the incident

I raised the patient with her lift to stand remote recliner.

What happened

I raised the patient in her recliner using the lift to stand remote. As the patient was leaning forward on her arm walker trying to stand she started to lost her balance and began to fall back wards. I had my right arm under her arm and my left hand holding on to her pants. to help steady her. I tried to lift and help her stand forward. at that moment and I felt a pop in my back. The pt had her balance then so I continued to help her to the restroom. At that point I just thought I had a sore back and continued to work that day and 2 more shifts after that and my back didn 't get better only worse. I went to the doctor on [REDACTED] and had an MRI on my back on [REDACTED].

Injury or illness

Mostly right sided pain in my buttocks bilaterally numbness down the right side of my leg that radiates and comes and goes all the way down to my right foot. My lower back especially on the right side is effected the worst.
