What happened

was loading RGBY [REDACTED] had just got there so he was un-strapping and moving his tractor as usual. I was hooking the chains to some bar stock it was a big bundle about “248 length with metal bands holding everything together. I raised the load about 3 feet from the grown dint want to Carry it over [REDACTED]’s head just to be safe so I guided it around his truck when I got close to the RGBY Load he was taking I went up the ladder raised the load and proceeded to place it on the truck on top of some sheets. When I unhooked everything I stepped back the I raised the boom and noticed the hook had grabbed on to the metal band that was holding the bar stock in place. The silver metal latch on the hook never closed properly it seemed to be bent. The load shifted [REDACTED] noticed and said wow wow wow at that point the back end of the bar stock was against my hip pushing me off the truck I jumped of the truck before it pushed me off.
