Cleaning work area

Employee received laceration on hand after striking against exposed lathe tool insert. Employee was cleaning the wasino #3 machine at the end of their shift with an air hose when they reached towards the back of the machine that was turned off to clear excess debris. Employee states they were moving quickly and as they reached towards the back of the machine with the air hose in their right hand they struck the exposed lathe tool insert. Employee states they immediately stopped working and reported the incident to their manager where they then received first aid treatment.
