Employee was pulling finished parts off a conveyor

Employee pulled a part off the conveyor with excessive hot melt and placed it on the designated table for scrap. After he placed it on the table he slapped the part because he said that is what he normally does with his scrap. He said he didn 't realize he was slapping where the hot melt was located because he was listening to music.
