What happened
The employee was working on a crew cutting an insulated metal panel for installation. After cutting the panel a long metal scrap remained. The employee grabbed the scrap with his left hand to throw it away. The employee did not know the end of the scrap was under his boot and when he pulled it the metal sliced through his glove and lacerated his left hand fifth finger.
