Cleaning the slicer. Rag in right hand. Machine was one and spinning. Employee mentioned it is easier to clean the slicer when it is on let the blade spin and hold the rag in place.

When the slicer circled around the rag got caught on the top of the slicer. When she moved the rag down her finger got caught. (Right index finger). When it got caught she noticed that a piece of her finger and the rag tore off. Employee reported this to management. Management addressed the finger to apply first aide. (bandaid). Employee asked to go home and was uncertain about seeing a doctor. [REDACTED] ended up going to an urgent care that is not listed as a approved treating physician as she said she was uncertain of where to go. Employee received glue on her finger not stitches.
