Before the incident
EE stated to RN I was putting a blunt tip needle in the sharps with my left hand and didn 't realize it was that full. The needle bounced back out and hit my right forearm. There was blood but I thought it was the patient 's and I didn 't have any open skin. After leaving the room I noticed that I was bleeding so I did all the paperwork.
