Before the incident

RN left Voicemail for EE to return call. No call received-working from reports only. EE states Boosting a patient up in bed with a nurse. While attempting to pull a patient up in bed the nurse I assisted used only one hand. Two hands were used on my end therefore the weight was not distributed evenly. The bulk of the patient 's weight was on my end causing pain in the lower part of my back. Per manager 's investigation [REDACTED] states for the most part I 'm fine . She said it was slight pain and burning. She took ibuprofen and went to bed. The witness (the RN involved) is float pool and not staffing our department routinely.
