Performing a Cutter Change
What happened
Operator was in the process of a cutter change on V cutter. The adapter nut that was screwed into the bottom of the cutter was stuck and he was trying to get it to break free. He was using a large pair of channel locks to try and spin the adapter nut off. When that didn 't work he then used the channel locks to try and hit the adapter nut to loosen it. He swung the channel locks in a back hand motion and as the channel locks made contact with the adapter nut his right hand middle knuckle made contact with one of the cutter blades puncturing the skin on his hand with an laceration that went to the bone.
