Driving a Forklift

There was a leak when changing the LP tank on a forklift [REDACTED] at the LP tank rack outside of crane assembly I was wearing the gloves provided at the changing station and when I went to tighten the hose on the new tank LP started leaking from the fitting I tried to tighten the hose fitting but the gloves were extremely stiff so I had to use both hands This did not work so I tried to shut the release valve on the tank but it did not work I then tried tightening the hose fitting again and was able to slow the leak I went into the building to grab a channel lock wrench and went back outside to tighten the hose fitting until it stopped leaking I then removed the gloves and found my left pointer finger white and numb and two fingers on my right hand white and numb as well I contacted my supervisor and first aid was rendered
