Before the incident
Student left campus. Employee followed student.
What happened
Student 's group home and Therapist were notified. Student 's Therapist and someone from the home arrived at the school shortly after being called. Student was very agitated and being unsafe. Therapist asked Intervention team (3 employees including subject Employee) to physically stop the student if they tried to go into or cross the street. Intervention team physically stopped the student. During the hold the Employee was head-butted three times in the right temple of the head. Employee could barely keep their footing. Employee complained of vision loss and blurriness in their right eye. Employee 's head was visibly swollen. AMR was dispatched and Employee was taken to the hospital.
