Speaking to a new admit

After pt went to the timeout room out of nowhere pt comes out threating me while I was speaking with a new admit. I asked him to give me a minute until I was finished but he did not. I walked new admit to the dining room to get her out of harm 's way. After about 20 to 30 minutes of threats a level was called. We tried to talk to pt about going to the timeout room on his own but he refused. Others tried but he still refused. The nurse asked for the staff to restrain the pt and I was the first to restrain his left arm. As he started to swing another staff member restrained his right arm. We fell to the floor where I fell on my left shoulder.
