Opened trailer door and freight was to the back of the trailer. Pulled the dock plate up and straddled the dock plate with a foot in the trailer and a foot on the dock. When he dropped the plate in it scraped is right leg (calf area). Reported to OM that day and thought he would be fine and no report was completed. [REDACTED] it has now turned into cellulitis and infection.
