talking to patient

[REDACTED] [REDACTED]- Tele sitter alarm went off. Tech ([REDACTED]) walked in to check [REDACTED] Vitals since the patient was already awake. The patient became aggressive combative and verbally abusive towards tech. At this time the tech called out for the nurse ([REDACTED]). The nurse educated the patient but the patient refused and continued to verbally insult the staff. The patient started to move towards the edge of the bed and said he was leaving as he continued to insult the staff. The nurse stood to the right of the patient as the tech stood in front to prevent a fall because he is unsteady and weak on both legs. The patient looked to his right and swung his arm to the right with a close fist and hit me ([REDACTED]) on the Right Lower quadrant of the stomach.
