Pushing a patient to the procedure room
What happened
On [REDACTED] patient had and EGD procedure in the endoscopy department I was the procedure nurse and had to push the patient 's bed to the room. I was assisted by [REDACTED] My manager. After getting to the room I noticed my back was hurting but the patient needed to be repositioned to the left side and patient was unable to reposition herself. The Endoscopy tech and I tried repositioning the patient but was unsuccessful and we had to phone the endoscopy nursing station for help. I noticed that the pain in my back has increased. I tried stretching it out but it was still hurting.
