What happened
Operator was cleaning around the lathe where chips and metal strands come off. The operator had a wadded up piece of metal that had got tangled in the equipment and was working on getting it loose from the machine. While pulling it loose the metal cut through his [REDACTED] 3 cut protection glove and caused a laceration on left hand index finger.
