What happened

Operator was welding a [REDACTED] welded assembly in booth 10. Her non dominant hand (left) was supporting the hand that was holding the MIG welding gun. As she was pulling her weld towards herself her left gloved hand was dragging on the hot material. When she completed that portion of the weld she put the gun down and proceeded to grab the welded assembly and spin it around so she could weld the other side of it. As soon as her gloved hand made contact with the assembly she felt her very hot glove press on her finger. Her immediate action was to get her hand out of the glove. She pulled her hand away from the weldment as quickly as she could and in turn cut her heavy leather clove on the edge of the flange. When she did that her finger made contact with the sharp edge of the hot steel and both cut and burned (1st degree) her left index finger at the main knuckle.
