Before the incident
Cold icy morning. Our crew was meeting in this parking lot to address an encampment adjacent to it. I stepped out of my vehicle onto the pavement and it was immediately slick. Both feet slipped out and away from the truck. I grabbed onto the center door frame with my left hand and the door with my right to try to stop my fall. It was not successful and both arms went up and out as my legs slid out away from the truck. I ended up splayed on the ground on my back with both arms still gripping the truck up and behind me. I was able to get up. Immediate mild soreness in my left shoulder and arm. Feels like things just got yanked too quickly in an awkward way. Starting to feel more achiness and tingling in my left arm down to my fingers and up my back shoulder and neck. I am currently resting and using a heating pad. May see a doctor if it doesn 't improve after resting [REDACTED].
