Before the incident
Started the van and then walked back out to the van to go on route.
What happened
While walking to the van the employee slipped on ice right outside the front door of the building. They fell on their back. The employee got up and walked to the van and started driving but was in too much pain to continue driving so called their supervisor.
Injury or illness
They were admitted to Methodist hospital and diagnosed with concussion and sciatic nerve damage. They are unable to bear weight on right leg.
