What happened
Employee was completing a sera steady transfer with a patient. The patient used the sera steady to stand up from the toilet. The employee and a nursing tech helped the patient stand. Employee was helping with hygiene tasks behind the patient. Patient began to sit due to fatigue. To prevent patient from falling back on the toilet employee held patient up by the hips. Employee then felt back pain and a spasm.
