While helping the patient to her bed by transferring from wheelchair to bed EE placed the wheelchair next to the patient 's bed and locked the wheels. EE explained to the patient what the EE was going to do. EE placed the gait belt around the patient 's waist and continued with the instructions. EE helped her up with the gait belt and asked her to pivot she reached and grabbed the EEs left hand and squeezed it. EE asked if she is ok she replied she is afraid of falling. EE assured her she safe and helped her to lay down.
