Drawing blood from a central line

[REDACTED] was drawing blood from a patient 's central line using a vacutainer. Once blood draw was completed employee removed the vacutainer from the line--but when doing so the needle stayed on the line while the vacuum came off. After removing the needle from the line he accidently poked self.
