Clearing a jam on the mount pad tape
What happened
Team Member was performing Mount Pad tape installation. During this installation a mount pad became lodged in the feeder where the knife blade cuts the tape. The team member actuated the e-stop and reached over to remove the stuck item and in doing so the knife blade came forward and cut their left index finger through the fingernail. The Team Member regularly performs this task on the machine as a part of their assigned duties and is familiar with the task and equipment.
