Before the incident
Locking a piece of equipment
What happened
We were having issues with the locking mechanism on our size large Rifton pacer where the pelvic saddle attachment locks into the base of the pacer. I went to go take a look and had the pelvic attachment inserted most of the way when it fell from that position onto my finger which was resting on the floor. This led to my finger getting crushed between the floor and the pelvic attachment. The attachment weighs maybe a few pounds. My finger instantly started to swell and bruised at the main site of injury which was the top knuckle of my right pointer finger.
