Prior to the injury the team member was shoveling product out from under the line 2 freeze tunnel.

Team member was shoveling product underneath the line 2 freeze tunnel down the furthest right entrance and was about 15 paces passed the second door when the incident occurred. The team member was pushing an empty hand cart back down the corridor when he slipped and fell to his left side. To brace himself he extended his left forearm to stabilize himself. Directly to his left was the freezer coils which are surrounded by a series of small vertical thin pieces of metal with edges that consist of a tight zig-zag pattern creating a serrated edge appearance. When the team member braced himself against these metal pieces his left arm was lacerated at his mid forearm towards his elbow. The cut was approximately 6 inches long and about 1 3rd of an inch deep.
