What happened
EE had multiple work assignments outside and on building roofs in [REDACTED] when it was very hot. This caused EE to become sweaty both uniform and socks and boots. He was wearing his only pair of company-issued boots every day and thus the boots could not dry out between each wearing. The EE noticed irritation around [REDACTED] and was self treating for what EE thought was athletes foot. On the evening of [REDACTED] [REDACTED] feet were bright red and purple and painful. EE also had hives and rash. He sought treatment at the ER and was diagnosed with cellulitis.
