EE states she went to take a plate to a table when a coworker yanked the plate out of the EE 's left hand while scratching the EE 's hand. The EE developed pain in the left hand. EE is right hand dominant. Supervisor is aware. EE states Left hand -Pain is moderate to severe achy and sharp depending on certain movements -Scratch to the knuckle of middle and ring finger less than inch -Scant amount of bleeding at the time of injury -Thumb is moderately swollen -Pain radiates to the wrist Self-care measures include taking OTC pain medication using a heating pad and placing an elastic bandage with some relief
