On [REDACTED] at around [REDACTED] I was walking to mail handler to bring her a tub of letters when I quickly noticed she was holding her right hand. I asked her if something happened and if she was OK. She replied that the tow truck accelerated while reversing and her hand got caught between the PIT handle and the GPC that was in the area. We observed that her right hand had bruises and swelling from the impact. She was taken to the office where a cold pad was placed while police state police and ambulance were called. All required documentation was provided to the employee to take to the hospital.
