What happened
Was using the grinder and another employee was also grinding behind the IW when a spark from the other employee 's side towards IW and fell underneath IW 's welding helmet into his eye. He felt it and reported it right away to the administrative assistant and manager. He attempted to use the eye wash but he still felt something in his eye. He went to urgent care where they removed a piece of metal from his eye and told him he had two scratches. They restricted him from using a grinder or welder for two days.
