Walking down stairs with mail in hand.
What happened
Employee states that she was delivering mail at [REDACTED] around [REDACTED] on [REDACTED]. She went up the flight of stairs and placed the mail in the mailbox. As she turned around to go back down the stairs she lost her footing and stumbled down the stairs hitting her left knee on a concrete birdbath that was sitting at the bottom of the stairs. Her left knee has contusions and an abrasion. Employee refused to call for ambulance so management helped her to the vehicle and returned to the office. Her spouse will be picking her up and taking her to the doctors office.
