At approximately [REDACTED] carrier was delivering mail at [REDACTED] when a dog Argentinian Mastiff came running across the street. Carrier turned in time to put his satchel in front of him. The dog grabbed the satchel and pulled it causing the carrier to twist his fingers in the strap. Customer was able to restrain dog and carrier was not bitten. Carrier was taken to Medical center for treatment . Animal control was called and customer was notified that no mail will be delivered to address until further notice.
