Distribution Clerk had smashed her hand between a metal gaylord and lift during parcel distribution while running the SDUS machine by herself. She stated that a cardboard gaylord was starting to come apart and parcels were dropping on the floor and she attempted to wedge a wire gaylord in the setup. She stated that her hand became pinched smashed between the wire gaylord and lift. Lead clerk stated that clerks right hand was swollen and cut and she had drove herself to the ER for evaluation. She was treated and released. She will return to work with light restrictions on her next scheduled work day. She stated that the ER did schedule her for follow up at additional facility.
