What happened
On [REDACTED] at [REDACTED] carrier called the station to report that she had step into a hole that was covered with grass with her left foot while she was walking back to her postal vehicle to retrieve a package. When her foot went into the hole it caused her left knee to hit the concrete slab when she fell to the ground. The carrier left foot was still in the hole past her ankle when she finally was able to get to a position to wiggle and pull her foot out.
