What happened
On the above date I received a phone call at [REDACTED] from [REDACTED] in a distress and crying voice that he was assaulted by some juveniles and the police was on scene. I asked for his location and he stated that he was at [REDACTED] Upon my arrival on scene New Castle County Police was at [REDACTED] and Employee was in the ambulance with medical personnel. New Castle County Police had informed me that the postal truck was part of a crime scene and could not be touch. I contacted Postal Inspections and provided them with the brief information that I had. The Supervisor of New Castle Police informed me that they had video of the area when the crime took place. Upon further interviewing Employee they learned that his story that was reported did not align with the video. [REDACTED] informed me that the Employee will be taken into custody for further questioning and may be charged with filing a false police report which is a felony. I updated Postal Inspections. They released the postal
