What happened

Carrier called me around [REDACTED] to inform me that she was involved in a hit and run accident. Once I arrived to the scene carrier informed me that she stopped in the turning lane going southbound on porter rd attempting to turn left on [REDACTED]. She stated that she only heard tires screeching and then felt the impact from behind which pushed her to the right of [REDACTED]. I asked carrier if she needed medical attention she said she was fine and was just shaken up by the situation. The driver attempted to flee the scene but residents around the area found him around the corner stopped due to his airbags deploying and his car completely stopping. The police were called and after their investigation They concluded that the other driver did not have insurance and would only receive a citation for no insurance.
